Just saw a great session by Dave Glover on something called Dynamic Data Controls for ASP.NET, code named Oryx. Basically is a rails type framework for building data-centric applications with ASP.NET. It is still in its early stages (not due for release until sometime next year) but it's looking like it will shape up to be something pretty special.
